Boutique Guest Accommodation and restaurant, Christchurch Dorset

*The most perfect of stays….*

The Lord Bute is stylish and intimate boutique venue offering 5* luxury guest accommodation, award-winning food and impeccable service. Nestled in between the New Forest and the spectacular Dorset coast, the Lord Bute sits in the original grounds of the Highcliffe Castle and is just a stone’s throw from sandy beaches and dramatic cliff tops. Close to the towns of Christchurch, Bournemouth and Lymington Lord Bute is the perfect South Coast choice for a special dinner, a weekend getaway or an extraordinary wedding. Once home to Lord Bute, the Prime Minister of England from 1762-1763, parts of the accommodation used to be the original 18th century entrance lodges to Highcliffe Castle, built in his honour by his grandson, Lord Stuart D. Rothesay. These lodges have since been transformed into spacious modern suites, perfect for a romantic getaway or special occasion.

The Lord Bute also has a connection to Mr Harry Selfridge…. The Lord Bute Connection
